Observant viewers may notice a change in the latest Complete transcript for lesson 116. There is a bar on top that now allows you to view the characters in various forms including Pinyin (the default), Traditional, Simplified or in plain English! The popup translations still work as before translating Pinyin to English, Chinese characters to Pinyin and English back to Pinyin. Hopefully those of you studying to read Chinese characters will find this useful for upcoming lessons.

Wow, you aren’t kidding! This has got to be the most complete transcript in creation, with no less than four modes and active links into the Word Bank for every phrase. My primary thought was to use it to get increasingly familiar with characters, but since you included an English mode, I might use that as well to test myself on translating English to Mandarin and quickly check my translation with the mouseover. There are so many ways to use this, that I feel like a kid in a toy store. Simply fabulous!
