Your website and podcast have been extremely helpful to me in my recent trips to China. موقعك بودكاست ولقد كانت مفيدة للغاية بالنسبة لي في رحلة قمت بها مؤخرا الى الصين. I’ve become a premium subscriber because it’s been so useful. لقد قمت يصبح القسط المشترك لانه كان ذلك مفيدا. I’ve tried several other Chinese language resources,but have found yours to be the best. حاولت عدة موارد اخرى باللغه الصينية ، ولكن وجدت لك ان تكون افضل.

I am a performer and I decided that since I would be spending so much time in China, it would be nice to learn some of the language. انا فنان الاداء ومنذ ان قررت انني سأكون انفاق الكثير من الوقت فى الصين ، وسيكون من نيس الى معرفة بعض العبارات. I thought it would be respectful to at least try, and based on my experience, the Chinese people love it when Americans try and speak their language. اعتقدت انه سيكون من الاحترام على الاقل نحاول ، واستنادا الى خبرتي ، حب الشعب الصينى انه عندما حاول الاميركيون والتحدث بلغتهم. I managed to learn to speak 90% of my act in Mandarin. انني تمكنت من ان يتعلم التكلم 90 ٪ من العمل في بلادي الافندي.

Regarding your course, I am relatively new to it, and am only on lesson 17. وفيما يتعلق دراستك ، وانني لانها جديدة نسبيا ، وصباحا فقط على 17 درسا. I like the approach of breaking down words to their roots. احب هذا النهج من كسر الكلمات الى جذورها. it has helped me with cab drivers, restaurant workers, store owners etc. One thing I found out by being in China and trying to get around, is that when I am shopping, shopkeepers will take out calculators to show you the price they are asking, and then I can take the calculator to make a counter offer. لقد ساعدتني بسياره الاجره مع السائقين ، ومطعم العمال ، واصحاب المتجر الخ شيء واحد أنني وجدت بها يجري في الصين وتحاول الالتفاف حول ، هو انه عندما انا التسوق ، واصحاب محال تجارية وسوف تأخذ بها حاسبات ليريك الثمن وهم يطلبون ، وبعد ذلك يمكنني ان تأخذ الحاسبه لتقديم العرض المضاد. So learning all the numbers up to 1000 wasn’t as urgent to me as some other things. حتى تعلم جميع الارقام تصل الى 1000 لم تكن ملحة الي بصفتي بعض الاشياء الاخرى. But you can only learn what it is you need to know by being in China, (or Taiwan). ولكن يمكنك فقط معرفة ما هو انت بحاجة الى معرفته بها ويجري في الصين ، (أو تايوان). There is no substitute for jumping right in and trying to make yourself understood. وليس هناك بديل عن الحق في القفز ومحاولة لجعل نفسك يفهم. I think the difficulty between lessons is OK. اعتقد ان الصعوبه بين الدروس هو موافق. As in learning anything, practice, practice, practice. وكما في تعلم أي شيء ، والممارسه ، والممارسه ، والممارسه. Without practice, it doesn’t matter how much or how little the difficulty increases, you won’t learn anything. بدون الممارسه ، لا يهم كم أو كيف قليلا صعوبة الزيادات ، فإنك لن تتعلم شيئا. I like your course because of the way the words are broken down to their roots. احب دراستك بسبب الطريقة عبارة موزعة على جذورها. Like I mentioned, I’m a little hard of hearing, and I haven’t developed an ear for the tones yet, so for you to tell us which one it was is very helpful. مثل التي ذكرتها ، وأنا القليل يسمعون بصعوبة ، وانا لم بوضع الاذن للنغمات حتى الآن ، لذلك عليك ان يخبرنا أحد الذي كان من المفيد جدا. One thing that I do to help me learn is to have an imaginary conversation with someone, could be a bus driver, or a cab driver, store owner, person attending the festival and try to uses as many words as possible. شيء واحد ان افعله للمساعدة في تعلم لي هو ان تكون خياليه المحادثة مع شخص ما ، يمكن ان يكون سائق حافله ، او سائق بسياره الاجره ، وصاحب المتجر ، شخص حضروا المهرجان ويحاول يستخدم كلمات كثيرة بقدر الامكان. That’s one way I discover what I haven’t learned yet, but need to know. ان واحدة من اكتشاف طريقة انا ما قلته لم يتعلم بعد ، ولكن الامر بحاجة الى معرفته.

Keep up the good work. وتواكب العمل الجيد. I think you’ve helped a lot of people learn what they once thought to be a difficult language. اعتقد انك ساعدت الكثير من الناس معرفة ما فكر مرة واحدة أمرا صعبا اللغة.

…I think the podcasts are really good. … أعتقد podcasts هي حقا جيدة. The grammar explanations are well done, they give good attention to teaching proper tones, and the subject matter of the lessons is on par with what Chinese Pod covers. فإن القواعد تفسيرات هي احسنت ، يطلقونها على حسن الانتباه الى التدريس الصحيح نغمات ، وموضوع الدروس هي على قدم المساواة مع ما يغطي الصينية السنفه. They certainly don’t cut any corners. ومن المؤكد انهم لا قطع اي زوايا. And since the teachers aren’t all from just the mainland or just from Taiwan, listeners are exposed to the slight accent, vocabulary, and tonal differences they’re likely to encounter in their daily encounters with Chinese people from different areas of the world. وبما ان المعلمين ليسوا فقط من جميع البر الرئيسى من تايوان أو مجرد مستمع معرضون لالطفيف اللكنه ، والمفردات ، ونغمي الخلافات يذهبون من المرجح ان اللقاء في حياتهم اليوميه لقاءات مع شعب الصينى من مناطق مختلفة من العالم. That’s a big advantage that this site has over Chinese Pod because not everybody who speaks a given language speaks it with exactly the same accent. وهذا هو ميزة كبيرة ان هذا الموقع قد مر الصينية السنفه لأن الجميع لا يتكلم لغة معينة ويتحدث مع أنها بالضبط نفس اللكنه. So the more exposure you get to different regional accents, the better your listening comprehension will be. ذلك الأكثر التعرض حصولك على اللكنات اقليميه مختلفة ، كلما كان ذلك أفضل سماع ادراك سيكون. You still won’t get as much exposure to as wide a range of [bad] Chinese accents as you’re likely to encounter in real life, but that’s actually a good thing; you don’t want to learn sloppy Chinese, anyway. كنت لا زلت لن تحصل على اكبر قدر التعرض لاوسع مجموعة من [سيئة] الصينية اللكنات كما انت على الارجح الى اللقاء في واقع الحياة ، ولكن في الحقيقة انه شيء جيد ؛ كنت لا تريد ان تتعلم الصينية sloppy ، على اي حال. It’s a difficult thing to achieve balance between exposing students to what they’ll encounter in real life and teaching them correctly, and they do a good job with it. It'sa الشيء الصعب تحقيق التوازن بين تعريض الطلاب الى ما سوف تصادف في واقع الحياة وتعليمهم بشكل صحيح ، وانهم يقوم بعمل جيد معها. It could potentially prove a bit confusing to beginners, but as long as they keep in mind that the differences are simply a matter of accent, they’ll be just fine… ومن المحتمل ان تثبت قليلا مربكه لفرق الناشئين ، ولكن طالما انها تضع في اعتبارها ان الخلافات هي مجرد مسألة اللكنه ، انهم سوف يكون جيدا…

I’ve been learning Chinese characters for a couple of years (after I learned Japanese for a while). لقد كنت تعلم الحروف الصينية لمدة عامين (بعد أن تعلمت اليابانيه لبعض الوقت). Reading simplified characters is therefore relatively easy for me, but there is a big gap to my listening and speaking skills, incl. القراءة المبسطه حرفا ولذا من السهل نسبيا بالنسبة لي ، ولكن هناك فجوه كبيرة لبلدي وتحدث مهارات الاستماع ، و. ، usage of grammar. الاستعمال اللغوي.

What I like most about Chinese Learn Online is really the English-to-Chinese practice, something others (incl. ChinesePod) don’t have enough of even though it is THE key skill I believe. ما احب اكثر عن تعلم الصينية على الانترنت هو في الواقع من الانكليزيه الى الصينية من الناحية العملية ، شيئا الآخرين (بما chinesepod) ليس لديهم ما يكفي من الرغم من انه هو مفتاح مهاره اعتقد. The more is really the better here. الأكثر هو في الواقع افضل هنا. I just feel the CLO approach is more organized, at least it helped me more. انا فقط أشعر CLO نهج اكثر تنظيما ، وانها على الاقل ساعدتني اكثر.

The other good thing about Chinese Learn Online is the gradual phasing in of Chinese conversation into the lessons. اخرى طيب عن تعلم الصينية على الانترنت هو في مراحل تدريجيه من المحادثة الصينية في الدروس. I think you are doing it right. اعتقد تقومون به هو الحق. Example: For texts that I would easily understand from its written form (Simplified) but never if spoken, I get a chance to grasp the listening comprehension because you have both the natural and the slowed-down version. مثلا : لنصوص أود أن نفهم بسهولة من الشكل الكتابي (المبسطه) ولكن اذا تحدث ابدا ، وانني احصل على فرصة لادراك الاصغاء والفهم لأن لديك كل الطبيعيه وتباطا الى اسفل النسخه. Other example: Lower-level lessons may be very easy for me if I read the text, but they are just the right level (short with very common words) to train my listening comprehension. والمثال الآخر : - انخفاض مستوى الدروس قد يكون من السهل جدا بالنسبة لي لو قرأت النص ، بل انها مجرد الحق في مستوى (قصيرة جدا مع الكلمات الشاءعه) لتدريب بلدي الاصغاء والفهم.

Bottom-line: I find multiple levels of CLO a good fit, depending on the focus I want to place. أسفل الخط : اجد مستويات متعددة من CLO ملائمة جيدة ، وهذا يتوقف على التركيز اريد مكان.

I tried a lot of Chinese learning programs before finding your site (ChinesePod, Pimsleur, Rosetta Stone) but none of them really worked too well for me. حاولت الكثير من برامج التعلم الصينية قبل ايجاد موقعك (chinesepod ، pimsleur ، حجر رشيد) ولكن احدا منهم حقا يعمل جيدا بالنسبة لي. Some went too slow, some went too fast, some just kept you stuck at the same level. ذهب بعض بطيءه جدا ، وذهب بعض سريع جدا ، فقط بعض آخرك تلصق على نفس المستوى. CLO really teaches Chinese at a great pace, with short lessons, and progressively. CLO حقا يعلم الصينية في سرعة كبيرة ، مع دروس قصيرة ، وبصورة تدريجيه. I love that every week you can get better and better and never feel like the jump from one lesson to the next is too big. أحب أن كل اسبوع ويمكنك الحصول على أفضل وأفضل واشعر ابدا مثل اذهب من درس واحد الى جيل كبير جدا.

So far, the premium services are great! حتى الان ، فان قيمة الخدمات العظيمة! I think you have done a really great job on the site… In practical terms, the content is all really useful with no (overkill) unnecessary ‘extras’…. واعتقد ان ما قمتم به فعلا رائع على الموقع… ومن الناحية العملية ، هو مضمون مع جميع مفيدة حقا لا لزوم لها (الاسراف) 'الاضافيات'…. What you are doing right and the others aren’t is two fold. وما تقومون به الحق وغيرها ليست هي سنتان اضعاف.

First of all, you have a progressive series. اولا وقبل كل شيء ، لديك سلسلة التدريجي. A person can actually start from the beginning and work their way up to a conversational level. يمكن لأي شخص ان يبدأ فعلا من بداية العمل وحتى وهم في طريقهم الى مستوى المحادثة. All the words are accounted for. كل الكلمات تحتسب. You remind people of what is new and what has been covered already. كنت أذكر من الناس ما هو جديد وما قد غطت بالفعل. You remind them in Chinese and use English sparingly. كنت أذكرهم في استخدام الصينية والانجليزيه لماما.

This is the way that it should be done. هذه هي الطريقة التي ينبغي القيام به. After the initial stages, a language should be taught in the target language as much as possible. بعد المراحل الاولية ، وينبغي ان تكون اللغة التي تدرس في اللغة المستهدفة بقدر الامكان.

The second thing – Lessons are introduced in Chinese. الشيء الثاني -- الدروس هي عرض في الصينية. It isn’t until new words are introduced that English is heard. انها ليست حتى كلمات جديدة هي ادخال اللغة الانجليزيه هي ان تسمع. This puts the person in Chinese mode. وهذا يضع الشخص في الصينية واسطة.

We learnt grammar properly, vocabulary was good and we spoke about as fast as beginners at our level ought to, but we sucked at listening. ان نتعلم قواعد النحو الصحيح ، والمفردات كانت جيدة وتحدثنا عنه بالسرعه مبتدئين في اعمالنا مستوى يجب ، ولكن نحن في امتصاص الاستماع. This is because the teacher always spoke at a slower-than-normal speed which we could easily understand. وذلك لأن المعلم دائما تكلم في ابطأ مما هو السرعه العاديه التي يمكننا أن نفهم بسهولة. In fact, when she sped up just a little bit, most of the class stopped understanding what she was saying. في الواقع ، عندما تمكنت من الاسراع قليلا فقط ، ومعظمها من الطبقة توقف فهم ما كانت تقول. The teaching methods used in this course are very effective and are superior to learning from books and CDs. طرق التدريس واساليب التعليم المستخدمة في هذا الدرس هي فعالة جدا وتتفوق على التعلم من الكتب والاقراص المدمجه. One problem with learning from a book and CD is that the lessons are often too long. مشكلة واحدة مع التعلم من كتاب وقرص هي الدروس التي غالبا ما تكون طويلة جدا. It is very discouraging to realise you have to get through 20 pages to finish 1 lesson. ومن الاحباط الشديد لأدرك ديك من خلال الحصول على 20 صفحات 1 الى نهاية الدرس. Books usually provide you with a few short texts which are covered but not explained on the CD. كتب عادة تزويدكم قليلة من النصوص القصيره التي تغطيها ولكن ليس أوضح على القرص المضغوط. It is very frustrating to try to keep up with the audio while flicking back and forth through pages a book. ومن المحبط للغاية في محاولة لمواكبة اغنية بينما التحريك جيءه وذهابا عبر صفحات كتاب. One of the biggest problems with learning from books is that they confuse you with strict grammar rules and technical linguistic terms that require you to have a PhD in linguistics to understand them. واحد من أكبر المشاكل مع التعلم من الكتب هو أنها تخلط لكم مع قواعد صارمه القواعد اللغويه والتقنيه حيث ان يطلب منك ان يكون من حملة الدكتوراه في علم اللغة لفهمها.

This course gets around these problems brilliantly. وهذا بطبيعة الحال لا تحصل هذه المشاكل حولها ببراعه. Since the lessons are short, learning never becomes a chore. منذ الدروس هي قصيرة ، ويصبح تعلم أبدا العمل الرتيب. Kirin has one of the clearest voices I have every heard. كيرين لديها واحد من أصوات اوضح انني واثق كل سمع.
