I must start off by saying that Kirin greatly impressed me with her teaching skills. لا بد لي ان ابدأ بالقول ان شركة كيرين اعجاب بالغ لي معها مهارات التدريس. If there is one quality that a teacher must have above all else, it is patience. واذا كان هناك احد جوده أن المعلم يجب ان يكون قبل اي شيء آخر ، ومن الصبر. And Kirin was very patient with me as I started to speak Chinese once more after the gap of some months. وكانت شركة كيرين مريض جدا معى كما انني بدأت أتكلم الصينية مرة اخرى بعد بضعة اشهر من الفجوه. I am sure you can tell by listening to the Skype audio chats, that my speaking skills definitely started out pretty badly in the first lesson but were improved ten-fold by the end of the last lesson. انا متأكد انكم يمكن ان تتحقق من خلال الاستماع الى أغنية Skype دردشات ، ان بلادي المهارات تحدث قطعا جميلة بدأت بها سيئة في الدرس الاول ولكن كانت تحسن عشرة اضعاف بحلول نهاية الدرس الأخير. More than anything else, this made me very glad and my general confidence level in speaking Mandarin increased a great deal with the few people I know here in Seattle who speak Chinese with me. اكثر من اي شيء آخر ، وهذا جعلني سعيد جدا وبلدي مستوى الثقة العامة في الافندي تحدث زيادة كبيرة في التعامل مع بعض الناس وأنا أعرف هنا في سياتل الذين يتكلمون الصينية معي.

First, I believe the key there is simply to have someone to practice with regularly and to have some sort of aim. اولا ، اعتقد ان هناك مجرد مفتاح ليكون احدهم الى ممارسة منتظمة مع وإلى نوع ما من الهدف. Having these 15-minute conversations with Kirin scheduled made me prepare for them by reading the text aloud to myself beforehand again and again until I got it right. وبعد هذه المحادثات لمدة 15 دقيقة مع شركة كيرين المقرر جعلني التحضير لها عن طريق قراءة النص بصوت عال إلى نفسي مسبقا مرارا وتكرارا حتى انها حصلت على حق.

Secondly, a huge advantage of having these lessons is that I have a critical audience. ثانيا ، ضخم ميزة وجود هذه الدروس هو ان اكون قد حرجة جمهور. When I am speaking Chinese with someone else, if I say something incorrectly (grammar or tone), he will probably not correct me because it might be considered rude. عندما أتكلم الصينية مع شخص آخر ، واذا كان لي ان اقول شيئا غير صحيح (القواعد أو لهجة) ، وقال انه من المحتمل الا الصحيح لي لانها يمكن ان تعتبر rude. But, when I speak with Kirin, I know that I will be corrected, and that is the way I prefer it, because there’s no other way for me to learn. ولكن ، وعندما اتكلم مع شركة كيرين ، وأنا أعلم بأنني سوف يجري تصحيحها ، وذلك هو الطريق انني افضل ، لانه لا توجد طريقة اخرى لمعرفة بالنسبة لي.

Lastly, I think it is simply fun having someone talk to you from a somewhat distant place, where points of view are a little different and things are done differently and where the language you are learning is the lingua franca. واخيرا ، اعتقد انه مجرد متعة لها أحدهم يتحدث اليك من مكان بعيد بعض الشيء ، حيث هي وجهات نظر مختلفة قليلا ، وتجري بها الامور بشكل مختلف وحيث انت تعلم اللغة هي اللغة الساءده. I definitely love meeting new people and making new friends and I’m sure most other people do too. انني بالتأكيد الحب جلسة جديدة ، وجعل الناس اصدقاء جدد وانا متأكد ان معظم الناس يعملون الاخرى ايضا. “ "

In regard to my thoughts on the one-on-one live lessons, I did listen to the sessions and found them very helpful. وفي الصدد الى افكاري على أحد - واحد - على العيش الدروس ، وانني لم استمع الى دورات وجدوها مفيدة جدا. Kirin was extremely pleasant and accommodating to work through my pronunciation issues. كيرين كان لطيفا للغاية ، والى العمل من خلال استيعاب النطق قضايا بلادي. As a beginner, I am trying to absorb vocabulary and understand Chinese language speakers in normal speaking pace. كما مبتدئا ، واني اسعى الى فهم واستيعاب مفردات اللغة الصينية المتكلمين في التحدث المعتاد سرعة. I do find myself lacking in pronunciation and other speaking nuances more so after listening to the sessions to the point of embarrassment. وانا أجد نفسي تفتقر في النطق وغيرها من الفروق الدقيقة يتحدث اكثر من ذلك وبعد الاستماع الى الدورات الى نقطة الحرج. While listening to my sessions, I distinctly speak Mandarin with an American dialect, which would be taxing on native Mandarin speakers to understand. حين الاستماع الى بلدي الدورات ، وانا اتكلم بوضوح مع الافندي اميركي اللهجه ، الذي سيكون فرض ضرائب على المواطنين الافندي المتكلمين فهم.

The first lesson went very well and Miwa is a good teacher. الدرس الأول ذهب تماما وmiwa هو خير معلم. I had no problems understanding her and she was very clear with her Chinese and English. لم تكن لدي اي مشاكل الفهم وقالت انها كانت واضحة جدا معها الصينية والانجليزيه. Also, Miwa overall is pleasant to work with and uplifting with her praise! ايضا ، miwa عموما هو لطيفا للعمل مع ورفع معها المديح! A good quality which I recognize as important to a student’s learning, whose confidence in speaking Mandarin may be shaky. الجيد الذي أدرك أهمية بالنسبة للطالب التعلم ، في الثقة التي تحدث الافندي قد تكون مهتزه.

The most valuable part of the lesson for me was creating sentences with words she picked out. أثمن جزء من الدرس بالنسبة لي كان يخلق الجملتين مع انها عبارة نشطت بها. For example she asked me what “xi1 wang4″ meant and then asked me to make a sentence using this. فعلى سبيل المثال طلبت مني ما "xi1 wang4" يعني وثم طلب مني ان استخدام هذه الجمله. I had to think for a minute because then I had to go over all my vocabulary and think! واضطررت الى التفكير لمدة دقيقة ثم لان الاول كان عليه ان يذهب الى اكثر من جميع المفردات بلادي وأعتقد! This is the hardest part for me because it requires original thinking and knowledge of sentence structures and vocabulary. هذا هو الجزء الاصعب بالنسبة لي لأنها تتطلب التفكير والمعرفه الاصليه للهياكل ومفردات الجمله. Plus, I have learned Mandarin by practicing CLO dialogues, which is good but has a downside to it. زائد ، وتعلمت الافندي بها ممارسة CLO الحوارات ، وهو أمر جيد ولكن له سلبيات اليها. That is, I associate vocabulary with the sentences in the dialogues so much that it is ingrained in my head. وهذا هو ، وأنا مشارك المفردات مع جمل في الحوارات التي تجعلها هي متاصله في رأسي. For example, when I want to say something or someone asks me a question, I think of answering with the dialogue that I learned, ahh! فعلى سبيل المثال ، عندما اريد ان اقول شيئا او شخص ما تسالني سؤال ، واعتقد ان الاجابه على هذا الحوار مع تعلمت ، ahh!

The first 10 minutes or so consisted of me reading the dialogue, going over the vocabulary words, reading the dialogue together, and then giving English meaning to vocabulary words. اول 10 دقائق او حتى تتكون لي من قراءة الحوار ، والذهاب أكثر من المفردات الكلمات ، وقراءة الحوار معا ، وعندئذ اعطاء معنى للغة الانجليزيه الكلمات. For those who are struggling, especially at “Level I” or so, this would be good for them, as first one must master pronunciations and meanings before moving on to anything else. لاولئك الذين يناضلون ، وخصوصا في "المستوى الاول" او نحو ذلك ، وسيكون ذلك جيدا بالنسبة لها ، كما يجب ان يتقن اولا احد التلفظ والمعاني قبل الانتقال الى أي شيء آخر.

Miwa gave a good introduction asking my name in Mandarin and reciprocating back. Miwa القى جيدة مقدمة السؤال اسمي في الافندي ومبادله الوراء. She acknowledged every line or answer I gave which is good. واعترفت كل خط او القى الجواب الاول وهو أمر جيد.
