a. Wǒmen bìng bú shì yào jiāo nǐmen zěnme diǎn cài 我們並不是要教你們怎麼點菜我们并不是要教你们怎么点菜We are not going to teach you how to order food .

b. Qíshí zhège cài de zuòfǎ hěn jiǎndān 其實這個菜的做法很簡單其实这个菜的做法很简单Actually this dish is very easy to make ，bìng bú fùzá 並不複雜并不複杂and not at all complicated .

2. In this lesson, Kirin uses the emphatic particle Āiyo 哎喲哎哟Ah to express dismay. Knowing about these expressions and when they are used is part of the learning Chinese process, so pay attention to them when you see them.
