Adam: Ok, so let’s break down the first line of the dialogue for you.亞當：好吧，我們就這樣讓我們打破第一線的對話給你。
Kirin:麒麟： Jīntiānde jīntiānde tiānqì tiānqì hěn hěn lěng lěng . 。
Adam: So we know亞當：那麼我們知道 jīntiānde jīntiānde means “today’s”.意思是"今天的" 。 You hear it lots of times in each lesson with你聽到它地段的時候，在每節課與 jīntiānde jīntiānde duìhuà duìhuà meaning “today’s dialogue.” Here we have含義： "今天的對話"在這裡，我們有 jīntiānde jīntiānde tiānqì tiānqì . 。 The該 tiān tiān is the same是相同的 tiān tiān from從 jīntiān jīntiān . 。 On its own, it can refer to “day” or “sky.” The second part is a falling tone對自己的，它可以是指"天"或"拼命三郎" ，第二部分是下降的聲調 qì qì and refers to “weather.” So together並指"天氣" ，所以在一起 tiānqì tiānqì means “weather.” It’s easy to confuse single syllable words on their own, so they are often paired with another word to clarify meaning which is why we have意思是"天氣， "這是很容易混淆單音節詞對自己的，所以他們常常是成對與另一個詞澄清的意思，這就是為什麼我們有 tiānqì tiānqì and not just而不是只 qì qì . 。

Adam: We know the next word亞當：我們知道下一個詞 hěn hěn means “very.” That’s followed by意思是"非常， "這是其次 lěng lěng which is a falling rising tone and is the word for “cold.”這是一個屬於上升基調，是意為"寒冷" 。
Kirin:麒麟： Jīntiānde jīntiānde tiānqì tiānqì hěn hěn lěng lěng . 。
Adam: Today’s weather is very cold.亞當：今天的天氣非常冷。

Adam:亞當： ”Duì” " duì " shì shì shénme shénme yìsi? yìsi ？ Shì shì “correct”de "正確"德 yìsi yìsi . 。 She then says:她接著說：

Adam: So there are some important concepts here that we need to look at.亞當：所以，有一些重要的概念，在這裡，我們需要研究的問題。 Let’s start with the first word讓我們從第一個字 dōngtiān dōngtiān . 。 That’s made up of a high tone這彌補了一個高聲調 dōng dōng meaning “winter” followed again by意思是"冬天" ，然後再由 tiān tiān meaning “sky.” Putting those two words together gives us “the winter season.”意思是"拼命三郎" ，使這兩個詞在一起，使我們的"冬季" 。

Adam: The next word is亞當：下一個詞是 shíhòu shíhòu which we’ve seen back in lesson 24 with the term我們已經看到，在24日的教訓與任期 shénme shénme shíhòu shíhòu . 。 What does什麼 shénme shénme shíhòu shíhòu mean?指的是什麼？ It’sa question word asking “when.” The literal translation is “what time” so這是問題的字問： "當" ，直譯是"什麼時候" ，使 shíhòu shíhòu means “time.” Here we have意思是"時間" ，在這裡，我們有 dōngtiānde dōngtiānde shíhòu shíhòu , meaning “wintertime.”意思是"冬天" 。
Kirin:麒麟： Dōngtiānde dōngtiānde shíhòu, shíhòu ， dōu dōu shì shì zhème zhème lěng lěng . 。
Adam: The next new word we have here is亞當：未來新詞，我們在這裡是 dōu dōu . 。 That’sa high tone and in this context means “all” or “entirely.” It is referring to the wintertime we just talked about. that'sa高聲調，並在此背景下，意思是"所有"或"完全" ，是指冬季，我們剛剛談過。 So she’s saying the entire wintertime所以她的話說，整個冬天 shì shì zhème zhème lěng lěng . 。 This next word這一個字 zhème zhème uses a falling tone and a neutral tone and can be used to say “so much” or “this much” And the last word採用降聲調和輕聲的，可以用來說， "這麼多"或"本多" ，並硬道理 lěng lěng we saw earlier meaning “cold” so together我們看到剛才的意思"冷" ，所以在一起 zhème zhème lěng lěng can be translated as “this cold.”可以翻譯為"冷" 。
Kirin:麒麟： Duì, duì ， dōngtiānde dōngtiānde shíhòu, shíhòu ， dōu dōu shì shì zhème zhème lěng lěng . 。
Adam: So the literal translation of this entire sentence is “Correct, winter time all is how cold.” Or in other words “That’s right wintertime is very cold.”亞當：所以直譯的，這全句是"正確的，冬天的時候，所有的是如何感冒" ，或在其他話"的權利，冬天是非常冷" 。
