Chinese Valentine’s Day الصينية عيد الحب
Today is August 19, 2007 which also happens to be the 7th day of the 7th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. اليوم هو 19 اغسطس / آب ، 2007 والذي يحدث ايضا ان يكون اليوم السابع من الشهر السابع من التقويم القمرى الصينى. This day is dedicated to love and is the Chinese equivalent to Valentine’s day. هذا اليوم مخصص للهو الحب والصينية ما يعادل عيد الحب.
The legend behind this day dates back more than 2000 years and has been recounted by poets and in Chinese operas for generations since then. الاسطوره وراء هذا يعود اليوم اكثر من 2000 سنة ، وقد روى من الشعراء والاوبرات الصينية في لأجيال منذ ذلك الحين. It resembles those found in Greek mythology, as it also goes on to explain some of the natural phenomena we encounter in our world. انها تشبه تلك الموجودة في الاساطير اليونانيه ، لأنها أيضا ويمضي لشرح بعض من الظواهر الطبيعيه التي نواجهها في عالمنا.
The story begins with the seven fairy daughters of the Emperor of Heaven coming down to earth to bathe in a river one evening. القصة تبدأ مع سبعة جنية من بنات الإمبراطور من السماء الى الارض خفض الى الاستحمام في نهر واحد مساء. An orphaned cowherd came across them and was memorized by the beauty of the youngest daughter, so he proceeded to steal her clothes that were lying on the riverside. احد الايتام cowherd صادف وكان لها من قبل حفظه جمال أصغر البنات ، حتى انتقل الى سرقة ملابسها التي كانت الكذب على ضفاف النهر. The fairies finished their bath and flew back to heaven, leaving behind their youngest sister who had no clothes. الجنيات انتهت حمام وطارت الى السماء ، تاركة وراءها على شقيقه الاصغر لم يكن من الملابس. The cowherd asked her to stay on earth and marry him, which she agreed to do. Cowherd وقد طلب منها أن تبقى على الأرض والزواج به ، والتي قالت انها وافقت على القيام به.
They lived a happy life for several years, before the Queen demanded the return of her daughter back to Heaven. كانوا يعيشون حياة سعيدة لعدة سنوات ، قبل الملكه طالبت بعودة ابنتها العودة الى السماء. The cowherd chased after her into the sky. وقد لاحقت cowherd بعد بلدها الى السماء. On seeing him, the Queen used a hairpin to create a line in the sky, separating the two. على رؤيته ، الملكه استخدم دبوس الشعر لانشاء خط في السماء ، التي تفصل بين الإثنين. That line turned into the Milky Way. ان الخط تحولت الى درب التبانة. From then on, the two lived on different stars - Altair and Vega. ومنذ ذلك الحين ، وهما يعيشون على نجوم مختلفة -- نسر وفيغا. Taking pity on them, the Queen allowed them to visit each other once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh moon. آخذا في الشفقه عليهم ، سمح لهم الملكه لزيارة بعضهم البعض مرة واحدة في السنة ، في اليوم السابع من السابعه والقمر.
Legend has it that on this day, magpies fly into the sky to create a bridge for the two to meet. تقول الاسطوره ان هذا اليوم ، طيور العقعق تحلق في السماء لبناء جسر للسنتين للوفاء. Five color ropes are made by girls wanting to celebrate this occasion, and thrown on rooftops for the magpies to use. خمسة الوان هي الحبال التي قدمتها الفتيات يريد ان يحتفل بهذه المناسبه ، والقيت على اسطح المنازل لاستخدام طيور العقعق. Additionally star gazing and praying for love and marriage at local temples is also popular on this day. وبالاضافة الى نجمة التحديق والصلاة على الحب والزواج على المستويات المحلية والشعبية معابد ايضا في هذا اليوم.
The traditions for this day contrast with those of Valentine’s Day (which is also celebrated as a Western custom in larger cities), which involve more gift giving between lovers. تقاليد لهذا اليوم على النقيض من تلك عيد الحب (الذي هو أيضا الذي يحتفل به بوصفه الغربية العرف في المدن الكبرى) ، التي تنطوي على اعطاء المزيد من الهدايا بين العشاق.
