Hey, I thought that 笔记本 was the most frequently used word for laptops.
I’m I being old fashioned now, or is this a Taiwan/mainland issue?

Hi Jonatan,
You are right on all counts. Both are acceptable, although in Taiwan you are more likely to hear 笔记型 while in mainland China they tend to use 笔记本.
