Hi Adam,
Your lessons are almost flawless, but sometimes I see a traditional character poppng up in simplified text, like for instance mian4 in mian4bao1, sentence 1 of the sentence builder in today’s lesson.
By the way, am I right to observe that 跟 gen1 is much more popular than 和 he2 in Taiwan?

Yes you’re right that while 和 and 跟 are both used in Taiwan, 跟 is much more common. To add to the confusion 和 in Taiwan is pronounced as han4. Fortunately, he2 is also recognized so you can use either form.
