I looked in two dictionaries, and both say it should be pin3zhi4 and not pin3zhi2. Thanks.

I think perhaps it is pin3zhi4 on the Mainland, but pin3zhi2 in Taiwan. Not positive though.

Yes you are right. Some words in Taiwan are pronounced with a slightly different tone as is the case here. Thanks for pointing it out!
