Chinese Learn Online is the most effective way to learn Chinese online fast! Our progressive immersion system only teaches a few new words in each lesson. As the lessons progress, we replace English with Chinese words that have been taught previously, resulting in constant review!

This lesson represents a milestone in the CLO course progression, as I’m proud to say that this is the first lesson that (gulp!) doesn’t feature me in it! That was always the goal from the start, so hopefully this can function as a preview of where we hope to take you with this course in level 4 and beyond.
The idea (from a language teaching point of view) is to get your Chinese vocabulary up to the level where new vocabulary can be taught to you using your existing vocabulary and without the need to translate into English.
As always, Premium subscribers have a safety net in the Complete transcripts which provide Pinyin and English translations of all the material in this lesson so refer to them as required. Or for an added challenge, try to follow along by viewing the transcript in Chinese characters.

Adam:
In the complete dialogue, it seems to stop when Kirin talks about baths using warm water. I’ve played it three times with same result. This is towards end of dialogue. Can you check this out to see if you experience same stoppage?

Thanks Thomas - I’ve found the problem and fixed it.
