Hi Adam,
In reference to the following sentence –
Kěshì wǒ bìxū zài mǎi yíge dàngāo.
可是我必须再买一个蛋糕
– should the character for zài be 再 as indicated or 载 ?
I found 载 in CEDICT for ‘also’ but not in a few other sources.
On the other hand, CEDICT is not always correct.
I couldn’t find 再 for ‘also’ in several sources, including CEDICT.
Can you confirm which character is correct? Thanks.

The character is definitely 再. As this isn’t an easy concept to explain in one lesson, you will see other examples of its usage in this form over the next few lessons. If it’s still not clear then, feel free to send another comment.

Adam, in the dialogue, you show 必需 bi4xu1 (essential/indispensable) but in the vocab it’s listed as 必须 bi4xu1 (to have to/must). ‘m guessing the latter is the correct version. This shows up in the bulk transcript too.
