   What’s with the funny sounding 2? Che cosa c'è di divertente con il suono 2? I only hear this from people who’s speak Mandarin as a second language. Mi sento solo questo da persone che parlano's Mandarin come seconda lingua.

   Hmmn… “èr” sounds pretty normal to me. Hmmn… "èr" suoni piuttosto normale per me. I’ve heard it pronounced as “àr” by some Chinese speakers - is that the sound you are more accustomed to hearing? Ho sentito pronunciato come "àr" cinese da alcuni oratori - è che il suono è più abituato a sentire?

   It sounds like “ah” to me. Suona come "ah" per me. This is what I hear from many of the southern Chinese who transplant up north. Questo è ciò che ho sentito da molti dei cinesi che trapianto sud a nord. Then again, I’m so used to hearing Northern (Bei Jing) Mandarin, that everything else sounds foreign to me.
