It may seem like Raphael is purposely trying to speak as fast as he can while introducing the different parts of the lesson. وربما يبدو مثل رافاييل هي تحاول عن قصد التكلم بالسرعه وقال انه في حين يمكن عرض اجزاء مختلفة من الدرس. I agree with you that after over 100 lessons, it’s time to start getting adjusted to the real speed of speech. وأنا اتفق معك انه بعد اكثر من 100 الدروس ، لقد حان الوقت لبدء الحصول على المعدل الحقيقي لسرعة الكلام. I think that at this point, words should be spoken as whole words, and sentences should be spoken as sentences. واعتقد انه في هذه المرحلة ، ينبغي ان تكون كلمات منطوقة ككل الكلمات ، والجمل وينبغي كما تحدثت الجمل. To continue the baby speech approach is to infantilize and retard one’s growth. الطفل على مواصلة نهج الخطاب هو infantilize واحد يؤخر النمو. I agree that we (myself included) are going to have to come to terms with a normal rate of speech and that it’s time for us to be treated less like babies and more like, errr, toddlers? اوافق على اننا (وأنا منهم) ذاهبه الى ان تتصالح مع طبيعية معدل الكلام وانه آن الأوان بالنسبة لنا ان يعاملوا معاملة أقل مثل الاطفال وأشبه ، errr ، الاطفال؟ That being said, there was a HUGE jump in this lessons in terms of rate of speech, use of confusing L sound for R, and a large amount of new vocabulary. ان يقال ، وكان هناك ضخم اذهب في هذا الدروس من حيث معدل الكلام ، واستخدام الصوت لل بلبلة صاد ، وكمية كبيرة من المفردات الجديدة. It was shocker to me and I’ve had to spend a lot more time on this lesson than others. ومن المفزع لي وأنا كنت قد تنفق الكثير على مزيد من الوقت على هذا الدرس اكثر من غيرها. I also noticed that the lessons following this one, while faster than some previous ones, seem a bit slower than this one and perhaps more appropriate at this point in the progression. كما انني لاحظت ان احد هذه الدروس التالية ، في حين اسرع من بعض التقارير السابقة ، ويبدو أبطأ قليلا من هذا واحد وربما من الأنسب في هذه المرحلة من التقدم. My brain can handle the quick rate only when I already know most of the vocab. بلدي الدماغ يمكن معالجة سريعه معدل فقط عندما كنت بالفعل تعرف اكثر من vocab. I can’t find huai4diao4 (although it seems intuitive and to make perfect sense) in any dictionaries… Is this more common in Taiwan? لم أجد huai4diao4 (على الرغم من انه يبدو من البديهي وجعل الشعور بالكمال) اي في القواميس… هذا هو الأكثر شيوعا في تايوان؟

You’re right - you’re more likely to hear “huai4 le” in other parts. انت على حق -- انت اكثر احتمالا للاستماع الى "huai4 جنيه" في اجزاء اخرى.

There is a delicate balance required to constantly increase the difficulty of each level, while still keeping it manageable. ثمة توازن دقيق المطلوبة باستمرار الى زيادة صعوبة كل مستوى ، رغم انها لا تزال تحتفظ انه يمكن التحكم فيها. Bryan, actually, I agree with you. براين ، فعلا ، وانا اتفق معك. I find it helpful to go over the vocabulary of the new words in advance of seriously trying to understand the dialogue. واجد من المفيد الذهاب الى اكثر من المفردات من الكلمات الجديدة قبل بجدية محاولة فهم الحوار. Even after I know the meaning of all the individual words, getting at the meaning of the sentence as a whole still exercises my “guessing at the meaning” intuition muscles because the sentence structure remains a huge mystery to me. حتى بعد أعرف معنى كل فرد عبارة ، في الحصول على معنى الجمله ككل لا تزال تمارس بلادي "الحزر في معنى" الحدس عضلات لأن الجمله هيكل ضخم لا يزال لغزا لي. Thanks for the ideas, Luobot. شكرا للأفكار ، luobot. I think we’re in the same boat. اعتقد نحن في نفس القارب. Although I still have lots of vocabulary to learn, it is the word order and usages of a familiar words in slightly different unexpected ways that can throw me. على الرغم من أنني ما زلت على الكثير من المفردات الى تعلم ، ومن اجل كلمة والاعراف المالوفه وبعباره مختلفة قليلا غير متوقعة في السبل التي يمكن ان رمى لي. I think I am going to have to accept that some things will not make sense until I’ve seen many, many examples of usage over time. اعتقد وانا ذاهب الى أن يكون لقبول بعض الامور لن تجعل الاحساس حتى رأيت العديد والعديد من الامثله على استعمال أكثر من مرة. I’m going to have to trust that by continuing to fill my head with more complex sentences, my brain will eventually make sense of the patterns intuitively. انا ذاهب الى ان يكون على ثقة من خلال الاستمرار في ملء رأسي اكثر تعقيدا مع الجمل ، بلدي الدماغ في نهاية المطاف سوف تجعل من انماط الاحساس بشكل حدسي. For now, maybe we just need to have faith and “Use The Force”. لالآن ، وربما نحن بحاجة فقط لدينا ايمان و"استخدام القوة".

I took Luobot’s suggestion of starting with the vocabulary section, and then I remembered the problem that Adam and I spoke about earlier this summer. لقد اخذت luobot اقتراح بدءا من المفردات الباب ، وبعد ذلك تذكرت ان المشكلة آدم وتحدثت عنها في وقت سابق من هذا الصيف. When I access any of the Vocabulary pages for any lessons, my computer (PowerBook G4) totally locks up. عندما كنت وصول اي من المفردات صفحات لأية دروس ، جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بي (powerbook G4) تماما حتى الاقفال. I re-installed Java and now I can access the vocab pages, but the flashcard page is totally blank. ط - اعادة تركيب جافا والان استطيع الوصول vocab صفحات ، ولكن flashcard صفحة فارغه تماما. Perhaps I am destined to be only partially involved here. ربما انني متجهه الى ان تكون المشاركة هنا الا جزئيا. LOL.

I found huai4diao4 in the Adsotrans dictionary (www.adsotrans.com), defined as “to crash.” It appears this site only accepts entry in characters and not pinyin though. فوجدت huai4diao4 في adsotrans القاموس (www.adsotrans.com) ، الذي يعرف بانه "لحادث تحطم الطائرة." يبدو هذا الموقع فقط تقبل الدخول في حرف وعلى الرغم من عدم بينيين.
