   評論： on this podcast, the lady says “qi2shi2″ is pronounced as “qi…di..yi…sheng,” but both the number and the tone scripts read second tone. I think it’s probably the scripts that need to be corrected, right?

   Hi Salvador,

   Welcome back! You are right that the speaker here (from Northern China) is saying “qi1shi2″, however since the dictionary lists the tones as “qi2shi2″ I left it that way in the text to show you that both versions may be used, depending on where you are.
