Can you explain the difference between these sentences for me? هل يمكن ان توضح الفرق بين هاتين الجملتين بالنسبة لي؟ The first one is the sentence used in this lesson (literally: I am first time come here) which I’ve never come across before. أولهما هو الجمله المستخدمة في هذا الدرس (حرفيا : انا اول مرة آتي الى هنا) التي قمت عبر تأتي ابدا من قبل. I have, however, heard the other two used before. غير انني استمعت الاخريين يستخدمه من قبل. I’m not sure I understand the nuances of these different ways of saying what I think are practically the same thing. لست متأكدا من انني افهم هذه المعاني الدقيقة بطرق مختلفة من القول على ما اعتقد من الناحية العملية نفس الشيء. Thanks for any help you may have to offer. شكرا على اي مساعدة قد تحتاج الى العرض.

All three have exactly the same meaning. جميع الثلاثة قد بالضبط نفس المعنى. I purposely tried to find a different way of saying the same thing, similar to how we might say “This is my first time here.” “This is my first time coming here.” “It’s my first time here.” etc. اني عمدا حاولت ان تجد طريقة مختلفة لقول الشيء نفسه ، على غرار الطريقة التي يمكننا القول "ان هذا هو أول مرة هنا". "ان هذا هو اول وقت مجيئه الى هنا". "انها المرة الاولى بلدي هنا." الخ .

Comment: on this podcast, the lady says “qi2shi2″ is pronounced as “qi…di..yi…sheng,” but both the number and the tone scripts read second tone. التعليق : على هذا بودكاست ، سيدة تقول "qi2shi2" كما هو واضح "كه دى…….. يي شينغ ،" ولكن كل من عدد ونبرة مخطوطات قراءة ثانية لهجة. I think it’s probably the scripts that need to be corrected, right? اعتقد انه ربما المخطوطات التي تحتاج الى تصحيح ، أليس كذلك؟

Welcome back! اهلا بك من جديد! You are right that the speaker here (from Northern China) is saying “qi1shi2″, however since the dictionary lists the tones as “qi2shi2″ I left it that way in the text to show you that both versions may be used, depending on where you are. أنتم على حق في أن المتكلم هنا (من شمال الصين) هو قوله "qi1shi2" ، ولكن منذ القاموس قوائم النغمات بانها "qi2shi2" انني تركت تلك الطريقة في النص لاظهار لكم ان صيغتي يمكن استخدامها ، تبعا للمكان أنت.
