Adam,
In the premium podcast for this lesson, “or” is translated as “huo4xu3,” where as in the main dialog it is “huo4shi4.” Which one is correct?

Hi Salvador. They are actually both correct. I have since updated the regular lesson to only include “huo4xu3” just to keep it consistent.

Hello Orapin,
Yes you are right about huo4xu3 and ye3xu3 which both mean maybe.
In the last sentence she is saying zao3 which means early.

Hello Adam
These two phrases:
Nǐ zěnme jīntiān shàngbān wǎn le?
Jīntiān wǒ tài wǎn qù shàngbān
Are they both correct? In the first “wan” is after the verb, in the second it is before the verb. Can you help?
Many thanks!

Hi John,
They are both grammatically correct. However one form of construction may be more likely to be used in certain parts of China than others. For example in our course, we tend to use the second construction more often.
Hope that helps!
