I noticed that Jen seems to pronounce 附近 (fu4jin4) more like fu2jin2 repeatedly. Ho notato che Jen sembra pronunciare附近(fu4jin4) più simile fu2jin2 ripetutamente. After doing a quick search on the site and listening to other sentences using fu4jin4 in the course from lessons 101,116,117 (what an excellent feature!) it seems that others pronounce it with the 附 as fourth tone. Great observation Bryan. Grande osservazione Bryan. As you mentioned, there are all kinds of variations to how people pronounce certain words and tones. The dilemma is whether I should teach only the standard pronunciation and risk the listeners not being able to understand regional differences, or teach the differences but then risk confusing listeners as to which version to follow. I’ve tried to use the standard pronunciation in the pinyin with the standard tone marks. Ho provato ad utilizzare lo standard di pronuncia in pinyin con il tono standard di marchi. So where that differs from the speaker (as is the case here), accept that difference as a regional difference. Thanks for the reply, Adam. Grazie per la risposta, Adamo. Obviously, I meant to say that she seemed to pronounce it more like fu2jin4 (not fu2jin2) as opposed to the “official” fu4jin4. Ovviamente, ho inteso dire che lei sembrava più simile a pronunciarlo fu2jin4 (non fu2jin2), in contrapposizione al "ufficiale" fu4jin4. I can appreciate the dilemma regarding regarding regional differences and it’s nice to have reassurance that alternate pronunciations are to be taken as regional differences rather than just “wrong”. In the premium section the speaker use the word “nei” (4 tone). Nella sezione del premio l'oratore utilizzare la parola "nei" (4 tonnellate). . as in Neijia luguan. Come in Neijia luguan. This word is not in the vocab finder. Questa parola non è nel vocabolario finder. I’m assuming it is a regional dialect for the word “Na”? “Nèi” is the short form of “Nà yī” I have changed the transcript to reflect the longer form, but the speaker seems to be using the short form. "Nèi" è l'abbreviazione di "Nà yī" Ho cambiato la trascrizione per riflettere il più forma, ma l'oratore sembra che si stia utilizzando la forma breve.
