I noticed that Jen seems to pronounce 附近 (fu4jin4) more like fu2jin2 repeatedly. لقد لاحظت ان jen يبدو نطق附近(fu4jin4) أشبه fu2jin2 مرارا. After doing a quick search on the site and listening to other sentences using fu4jin4 in the course from lessons 101,116,117 (what an excellent feature!) it seems that others pronounce it with the 附 as fourth tone. بعد عمل بحث سريع على الموقع والاستماع الى الأحكام الأخرى باستخدام fu4jin4 في سياق من الدروس 101116117 (ما ميزه ممتازة!) ، ويبدو أن الاخرين نطق فانه مع附كما الرابع لهجة. Is this a regional preference or is it one of those words multiple acceptable tones? هل هذه الافضليه الاقليمية ام انها واحدة من تلك الكلمات متعددة النغمات مقبول؟

Great observation Bryan. براين الكبير المراقبة. As you mentioned, there are all kinds of variations to how people pronounce certain words and tones. وكما ذكرتم ، وهناك كل انواع الاختلافات الناس الى كيفية نطق بعض الكلمات ونغمات. The dilemma is whether I should teach only the standard pronunciation and risk the listeners not being able to understand regional differences, or teach the differences but then risk confusing listeners as to which version to follow. والمعضله هي ما اذا كان ينبغي ان تعلم انني فقط الموحدة النطق والمخاطر مستمعين لعدم تمكنه من فهم الاختلافات الاقليمية ، او الاختلافات ولكن أنصح ثم خطر الخلط بين المستمعين اما النسخه التى تتبع. Somewhere in there is a happy medium. في مكان ما من ثمة سعيدة المتوسطة.
I’ve tried to use the standard pronunciation in the pinyin with the standard tone marks. حاولت استخدام معيار النطق في بينيين مع نغمة العلامات القياسيه. So where that differs from the speaker (as is the case here), accept that difference as a regional difference. حيث ان ذلك يختلف عن المتكلم (كما هو الحال هنا) ، يقبل ان الفرق كمركز اقليمي الفرق.

Thanks for the reply, Adam. شكرا على الرد ، آدم. Obviously, I meant to say that she seemed to pronounce it more like fu2jin4 (not fu2jin2) as opposed to the “official” fu4jin4. ومن الواضح ، وانا اقول ان يعني انها بدت نطق انها اشبه fu2jin4 (لا fu2jin2) ، مقابل "الرسمية" fu4jin4. I can appreciate the dilemma regarding regarding regional differences and it’s nice to have reassurance that alternate pronunciations are to be taken as regional differences rather than just “wrong”. استطيع ان نقدر معضله فيما يتعلق بشأن الاختلافات الاقليمية ، وانه لطيف والاطمئنان الى ان المناوبين التلفظ هي التي يتعين اتخاذها كما الاختلافات الاقليمية بدلا من مجرد "خطأ".

In the premium section the speaker use the word “nei” (4 tone). في قسط القسم المتحدث استخدام كلمة "Nei" (4 نغمة). . as in Neijia luguan. وكما في neijia luguan. This word is not in the vocab finder. هذه الكلمه ليست في vocab المكتشف. I’m assuming it is a regional dialect for the word “Na”? افترض ومن اقليمي لهجة لكلمة "غ"؟

“Nèi” is the short form of “Nà yī” I have changed the transcript to reflect the longer form, but the speaker seems to be using the short form. "Nèi" هو باختصار شكل "nà yī" لقد تغيرت النسخه لتعكس شكل اطول ، ولكن يبدو أن المتكلم باستخدام استماره قصيرة.
