  1. parrot Says: 鹦鹉说:

I can memorise two and three character vocab, but when they suddenly appear in a ten character sentence, I feel overwhelmed and can’t understand it, or rather, by the time I’m working out the second half I’ve forgotten what was in the first half of the sentence.我可以记忆两个和三个字符vocab ,但是,当他们突然出现在十个字一句,我觉得不堪重负和无法理解,或者更确切地说,是由当时我的工作了,下半年我忘记了是什么在上半年的句子。 Knowing each word very well doesn’t make the sentence easy, I can’t explain why.知道每个单词很好并不使该句很容易,我不能解释为什么。
Does that happen to other people, or is it just me?这是否发生在其他人,或者它仅仅是我吗?

  2. admin 管理员 Says:内容为:

I’m glad you mentioned this.我很高兴你提到了这一点。 There are a few aspects to this.有几个方面。 I expect in the beginning that it will seem overwhelming so:我期望在开始时,它似乎会以压倒性的话:

    a) I break it down in chunks. a )我休息下来,在大块。
    b) I give a couple other examples that have the same construction. b )我给一对夫妇,其他的例子有同样的建设。
    c) I make sure this is a sentence that will be used quite often (in this case, in the Premium podcast).三)我确信这是一个句子将被用于很多时候(在这种情况下,在保费播客) 。
    d) If the above isn’t enough, I make sure there are individual sentence breakdowns available in the Premium section to allow you to replay a sentence by itself over and over until it makes sense in full. d )如上述是不够的,我肯定有个别句子细分可在保费节,让您可以重放句子本身已经过去,直到这样做是明智的足额发放。

Whether this approach works or not is another story (you will have to tell me if it does).这种做法是否工程与否,是另一回事(你要告诉我,若确实如此) 。 Can you understand sentences such as “Ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yícì jīntiānde duìhuà”?你能理解句子,例如" ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yícì jīntiānde duìhuà " ? I would imagine it may have seemed like a lot when it was first introduced but I hoped that by hearing it constantly you would slowly remember more of it.我想象它看来可能像许多的时候,它第一次推出,但我希望通过听证会,它不断地,你会慢慢地记住更多的。

  3. Tom Says: 汤姆说:

    parrot,鹦鹉
I know exactly what you mean.我可以确切地知道你的意思。 It takes my brain a certain amount of time to process (ie translate) a word when I hear it.它需要我的大脑一定数额的时间去处理(即翻译)一言,当我听到这种说法。 If I listen to a long sentence I can easily miss most of it because my brain’s still working on the first few words.如果我听一个长句,我可以很容易错过最它,因为我的大脑仍在工作就第一几句话。 I found a couple things have helped me.我发现一对夫妇的东西都帮我。 First, if I start falling behind I remind myself to “not translate”.首先,如果我开始落伍我要提醒自己"不要翻译" 。 What I mean by that is I stop trying to decipher each word and just let the whole sentence flow through my head.我的意思即是,我不再尝试去判断每一个字,只是让整个句子流经我的脑袋。 Second, I listen to the passage over and over, not trying to memorize it but to progressively fill in the gaps.第二,我听的通过,并结束了,不是背诵,而是逐步填补了空白。 On the first pass I might pick up the general topic of the passage.就先通过我可能加快一般性议题的通过。 On the next pass I notice I’ve picked up another word or two, and so on.就下一步通过我发觉我已经拿起另一个或两个词,等等。 I continue until I can pick up all the detail without thinking.我继续,直到我可以拿起所有详细地脱口而出。 It can take anywhere from 2-10 passes for me depending on the complexity of the passage.它可以在任何地方从2-10及格,我的复杂程度通过。 Another thing I’ve noticed that may seem counter-intuitive is I seem to have better luck with faster speech.另一件事我已经注意到,似乎是反直觉的是,我似乎有更好的运气,具有更快的讲话。 I think it helps me to not dwell on individual words.我觉得它有助于我不打算跟个人说了算。 One last piece of advice - no matter how frustrated you get just keep going.最后一句忠告-无论多么沮丧,你得到只是继续下去。 Eventually you’ll see progress.最终,你会看到进步。

  4. LB Says:内容为:

    Hi:喜:
To understand more easily sentences such as “Ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yícì jīntiānde duìhuà” I would recommend the BIRKENBIHL-method - see the PDF at要了解更容易句子,例如" ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yícì jīntiānde duìhuà : "我会建议birkenbihl法-查看P DF格式,在 http://195.149.74.241/BIRKENBIHL/PDF/MethodEnglish.pdf http://195.149.74.241/birkenbihl/pdf/methodenglish.pdf
Like explained in step 1 in the PDF, you should make a character-by-character English translation and read this while listening again and again to the audio.想解释,在第1步在PDF格式,你应该有一个字,由字的英语翻译和阅读这本一边听着一次又一次地向音频。
    Example:例如:
    Chinese chars: 讓我們先聽一次今天的對話.中文字符:让我们先听一次今天的对话。
You hear …..你听到… .. Pinyin: Ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yīcì jīntiān de duìhuà.汉语拼音: ràng wǒmen xiān tīng yīcì jīntiān德duìhuà 。
You read ….你看… … 。 Char-by-char acc.焦炭由焦炭按出厂。 to BIRKENBIHL: let me [Plural] first listen one time this day ’s mutual speech.以birkenbihl :让我[文字]先听一次,在这一天奇摩相互讲话。
Correct English: Let us first listen to today’s dialogue.正确的英语:首先,让我们听今天的对话。
This method was of great help to me.这种方法是有很大的帮助了我。
    Good luck LB好运磅

  5. admin 管理员 Says:内容为:

Very interesting, LB I’ll study that page in more detail to see if I can utilize any of it in my teaching methods.很有意思,磅我将研究在该网页更详细地看到,如果我能够利用任何一种,它在我的教学方法。

  6. Dawg888 Says: dawg888内容为:

When does one use “zai hui”?当没有一个使用"再辉" ? Is the use intended for large public events or among friends? ,是利用意为大型公众活动或朋友之间呢?

  7. Adam 亚当 Says:内容为:

    Hi Dawg,喜dawg ,

Zaihui is slightly more formal than zaijian. zaihui略较正式的比zaijian 。 When in doubt, stick with zaijian since it’s the most common way to say goodbye.若有疑问,应坚持zaijian因为它的最常见的方式说再见。 You could also say “Women xiaci zaihui”, “Mingtian zaihui” etc.你也可以说, "妇女xiaci zaihui " , "田zaihui "等。

  8. Anthony Blum Says: 安东尼百隆内容为:

Hi, this lessons seems to say the difference between “wǎnshàng hǎo” and “wǎn ān” is a Mainland vs. Taiwan regional difference.喜,这个教训似乎是说区别" wǎnshàng hǎo "和" wǎn ān " ,是大陆与台湾地区差异。 However, I was told by a native Chinese speaker that “wǎnshàng hǎo” was something you say earlier in the evening, so “Good evening” and that “wǎn ān” was something you say before going to bed late at night, so “Good night.” So from this I gathered that you would say “wǎnshàng hǎo” when you first meet someone at night time and then “wǎn ān” when you leave later that night.但是,有人告诉我,由一个本土中文讲者认为" wǎnshàng hǎo "一定是你刚才说在傍晚, "晚上好" ,以及" wǎn ān "的东西,你说睡觉前在深夜,所以"好夜" ,所以从这个我得知你会说: " wǎnshàng hǎo "当你第一次见面在晚上的时间,然后点" wǎn ān : "当你离开后,这天晚上。 However, this Chinese speaker does not speak English very well, so I may have misunderstood.不过,这名中国议长不会讲英语非常好,因此,我可能有一些误解。 Thanks.谢谢。

  9. Adam 亚当 Says:内容为:

    Hi Anthony,喜安东尼

Your friend is right in the difference between “wǎnshàng hǎo” and “wǎn ān” - the former would mean “Good evening” while the latter is more “Good night.”你的朋友是正确区别" wǎnshàng hǎo "和" wǎn ān " -前者指"晚上好" ,后者则是更多的"晚安" 。

“Zǎoshàng hǎo,” “Xiàwǔ hǎo” and “Wǎnshàng hǎo” aren’t used much in Taiwan since they are considered rather formal. " zǎoshàng hǎo " , " xiàwǔ hǎo "和" wǎnshàng hǎo "并非是用来得多,在台湾,因为他们考虑,而不是正式的。
