Excellent lesson, but how do we access the level 2 premium section?

  2. admin Says:

Hi Bazza, for now the Premium section will be released on the “off days.” It will be centered around a Premium podcast that reviews the lesson, so that you will have something to listen to almost everyday of the week. Hope that’s okay.

  3. jemini Says:

At This rate, how many years will it take to get to the intermediate level?

  4. admin Says:

At this point, we have completed about 10 hours of material over a 5 month period so we’re still at a relatively basic level albeit higher than when we first started. At each 10 hour junction I will try to slowly increase the difficulty level. I am hesitant to label the levels as “basic” or “intermediate” since that definition may vary from one person to another.

For those interested in more in depth resources, expect to see more “side” material introduced over the next few months to supplement what is being taught in the main course. There is also work being done on a separate intermediate podcast to satisfy those wanting more of a challenge.

With the flashcard thing, would it be possible to add an option to just log your highest score for each particular test? For example if you got 9/10 first time, then did it again and got 10/10, the 10/10 score would replace the 9/10.

  6. admin Says:

    Hi Bazza,
I’ve updated it to just keep your last score. So if you do it again, your new score will replace your old score even if it’s lower. The reason it’s done this way is that some lessons have more than 10 questions so while you may get the first ten right, you may not get all right the next time. Let me know if it’s not working this way.

  7. Bazza 白锐 Says:

It still seems to work the same. It still logs them all.

  8. admin Says:

Can you reset all lessons and try it again? Let me know if you still have this error.

  9. Bazza 白锐 Says:

Yeah, still the same after resetting all.

  10. Luobot Says:

Bazza – I noticed the same problem and here’s what I’m doing until this gets fixed:

First, before retaking a test, click the reset for that row. (Don’t click “Reset All” – just reset the row for the test that you’re going to retake.) Then retake the test and it will be the only row there when your done retaking the test. In effect, you have the result from the last test taken.

It’s obviously not a permanent solution, but it works as a temporary work-around to achieve the same result.

  11. admin Says:

Ok guys, I’ve updated the flashcard program (it has new lessons too!). Can you tell me if the above bug has been fixed?

  12. Luobot Says:

I just played a few rounds in audio mode, got 9/10 the first time and 10/10 the second time. Only the 10/10 shows so I guess its working. At least I like the score!

  13. Bazza 白锐 Says:

Yeah, it works ok for me now. :)

  14. Craig Rosenthal Says:

Hi I have downloaded the lessons to my ipod nano but even when I press the centre wheel I can’t see the lesson summaries.

  15. Adam Says:

    Hi Craig,

Try pressing the center wheel button a few times - it cycles through various view modes, one of which should be the lesson summaries. Let me know if this works.

  16. Kameier Says:

Just wondering if there is any way of getting the premium podcast into my iPod? I can’t find it in iTunes, and there is no download button. I must be missing something.
    thanks!

  17. Kameier Says:

Hey, I’ve worked out the premium podcasts. I did a lot of searching to find it, and the last hitch was my name was really my email address. Quite confusing all in all, but thanks! I’m there.

  18. Luise (admin) Says:

Sorry about the trouble. There should be a link to the Premium RSS in the footer below.
