I am very intersted in learning chinese so that I can teach my son how to pronounce properly. the translation is a little bit hard to pronounce and read that’s why I was trying to repeat the lesson untill I can say it properly.Thank you

  2. admin Says:

Thanks Agnes. I agree with you that pronunciation is very important. The Premium resources try to focus on pronunciation by providing individual lines of dialogue for playback plus a record application to compare how you sound to the native speakers. The Premium resources for lessons 61 to 64 are provided for free for you to sample and try out.

  3. Olivier MASSOU Says:

Is there any chinese equivalent for Olivier ? ^^

  4. Adam Says:

    Hi Olivier,

The transliteration of Olivier would be ōulìwéiěr (欧力维尔). If you wanted a more traditional sounding Chinese name though, it would be better to get a 2 character version, plus one character for your last name. I could get my experts here to create one for you if you would like!

  5. Abdulaziz Says:

    Hello, Teacher Adam.
I`m very happy to study chinese with you and your team. Thanks for your teaching.
but I can`t write my name still?
What do you think is there any equalent chinese name to mine?
    Thanks. Good luck!

  6. Adam Says:

    Hi Abdulaziz,

There won’t be a perfect match to your name. You would have to make a choice of focusing on meaning or similar pronunciation or somewhere in between.

Here is one suggestion: 艾亚伯 (Ai4 Ya3bo2).
