Pls check the”Complete” {doesn’t work till the end}
Hi Lina, It seems to be working on my side. Please email me with what you see on your side.
Hi Adam
It’s OK now .Maybe it was something temporary.
I enjoy very much learning chinese in your Web.
I’am going to visit China next month, and hope to be able
to chat a few words in chinese.

Thank you very much. I’ve got a lot of knowledge from your web. I’m going to learn and want to able to speak Chinese soon.
The character fēi 飞 in the simplified characters PDF file appears in its traditional form 飛.
Hi Adam,
I really enjoy the additional review like the Sentence Builder and Exercise features. However, for the Fill in the Blanks exercises I’m having a little difficulty understanding the meaning of some of the sentences even though I can switch between pinyin and English.
For example:
nǐ yǒu shénme fāngfǎ ràng wǒ rènshi nà wèi xiǎojiě ma
English translation:
You To have What Method / Way Let I To know (someone) That Measure word for people Miss Question particle
I can kind of guess what that sentence is trying to say, but I’m still unsure and I remember there were other Fill in the Blank exercises from previous lessons that I was unable to comprehend.
Maybe add in a feature that directly translates these sentences to their English counterpart? Just a suggestion.
Thanks,
Hann
Hi Hann,
Glad you like the activities. The translation of the particular sentence you posted is:
Do you have any way for me to get to know that lady? I’m guessing the “shénme” threw you off there, since in this case it doesn’t mean “what” but “any”.
Hi,
Thanks. I picked up a couple of new words — du4jia4 and xing4yun4. However, the explanation of each of the sentences in the dialogue stopped at zhen1. There is no definition
for xing4yun4 or translation for the last sentence. It seems as though the audio got cut off/dropped.
Also, thanks for letting us know which words are commonly used in China and Taiwan. This is especially helpful when watching Mainland or Taiwan TV drama series online.

Hi Claudia,
Can you tell me which page you’re seeing the missing translation? It shows up everywhere I see it.
Thanks!
Hi, Luise,
I’m not a premium subscriber. I wasn’t using the transcript. I was listening to the audio, but it is okay now. I replayed it again a few days later and I was able to hear the dialogue in its entirety. So, never mind, and thanks for checking back.
