    Hi

In this dialogue, when renshi is pronounced, it sounds like the shi has a falling tone, but it is spelled with a rising tone.在這一對話時, renshi是突出,它聽起來像詩有下降的語氣,但它是拼寫與上升的語調。 Is it just my ear tricking me?它僅僅是我耳邊引誘我嗎? When i look it up in the dictionary, it says that ren is “to know”, what does the shi part add informationally?當我看到它在字典裡,它說,任建新,是"知" ,那麼史的一部分,加上informationally ?

Thanks so much, I love your podcasts!感謝這麼多,我愛你的播客!

    Hi Felicia,喜的Felicia ,

You have a good ear!你有一個良好的耳朵! You’re right, even though the shí is spelled with a rising tone, it is actually pronounced with a neutral tone.你說得對,即使shí拼寫與上升的語調,它實際上是宣判一個中性的語調。 There are a few points worth noting here:有幾點值得注意:

    1. 1 。 Many words in Chinese have two syllables.許多字,在中國有兩個音節。 This is to avoid confusion with similar sounding words when pronouncing.這是為了避免引起混亂,與類似的冠冕堂皇的話,當宣判。
    2. 2 。 Many times the second syllable is a synonym of the first.很多次,第二個音節是一個別名的第一次。 Here, both rèn and shí have a “know” meaning in them.在這裡,無論是rèn和shí有一個"知"的含義在其中。 But there are so many similar sound syllables that they are used together to form rènshí.但有這麼多類似的聲音音節表示,他們習慣於在一起,形成rènshí 。 Similarly, péngyǒu in this dialogue is also made up of two syllables that both have a “friend” meaning.同樣, péngyǒu在這個對話也取得了兩個音節都擁有一個"朋友"的意思。
    3. 3 。 Many times, the second syllable in a disyllabic word adopts a neutral tone.很多次,第二個音節在一個雙音詞採用一個中性的語調。 Péngyǒu above falls in the same category and is usually pronounced as péngyou. péngyǒu以上屬於同一類別,並通常發音為péngyou 。

Hope that helps, and thanks for bringing this up!希望幫助,並感謝使這個時候了!

Excellent question and excellent answer !優秀問題,並出色的答卷!

I had ’subconscioulsy’ realised a lot of bisyllables didn’t pronounce the second sysllable as defined.我有' subconscioulsy '變現很多bisyllables沒有宣判第二sysllable界定。 eg., duoshao.例如, duoshao 。
Some books removes the tone indicator, which just confused me more.有些書籍免職調指標,它只是混淆了我更多。

It’s nice to see it explained.很高興看到它解釋。

    Thanks.謝謝。

Hi - in the word laoban - the second syllable sounds almost like a falling tone or even neutral.喜-在聖言l aoban-第二音節聽起來幾乎像一個落入語氣甚至中立。 Is this correct?這是否正確? Xiexie xiexie

  10. Adam 亞當 Says:內容為:

    Hi Johan,喜的Johan ,

Technically the second syllable is a third tone, but as you mentioned, it isn’t stressed so you barely hear it.技術上的第二個音節是一個第三者,語氣平和,但正如你所說,這不是強調,所以你勉強聽到這種說法。

  11. Johan Says: 約翰說:
