I just want to ask what is the difference between yào and xiang ?我只想问区别是什么yào和祥?

Yào means ‘want’ while ‘xiǎng’ means to ‘think’ or ‘consider.’ They can be put together to form ‘xiǎng yào’ meaning ‘would like.’ These verbs are mentioned again in Lesson 22. yào手段'想' ,而' xiǎng '就是'想'或'考虑'的,可以放在一起,形成' xiǎng yào '意思'想'这些动词都提到再次教训, 22 。

不想长大 - Bu Xiang Zhangda不想长大-卜祥z hangda
when I look this up it translated to want or consider ..当我看到这个了,它翻译成想,或考虑..
and in some other context when people use xiang for want.在其他一些背景下,当人们用香为要。 It’s kind of confusing to me.它的种混淆了我。

You’re right.你说得对。 In fact xiǎng translates to any of the following: to think; to believe; to suppose; to wish; to want; to miss.事实上xiǎng转化为下列任何一种:想;相信;假设;祝愿;匮乏;错过。 There are different nuances between xiǎng and yào.也有不同的细微差别之间xiǎng和yào 。 Yào tends to be more firm whereas xiǎng is more of wishful thinking. yào更趋于稳固,而xiǎng更多的是一厢情愿的想法。 So in your example, the speaker obviously knows he will grow up but is still expressing his wish that he wouldn’t.因此,在你们的榜样,发言者显然是知道他将长大了,但仍是表达他的愿望是,他不会。 Xiǎng yào is usually used when the speaker wants something that first requires some thinking such as when you have to make a choice. xiǎng yào通常用来当一位发言者想要的东西,首先需要一些思考,例如当你必须作出选择。 Does that help?是否提供帮助?

I noticed certain words like “pian2 yi2″ are not listed as vocabulary for this lesson in the course outline.我注意到,某些字眼如" pian2义" ,不是列为词汇,为这个教训,在课程大纲。 Does this mean that the words are just supplementary vocabulary, and we don’t need to learn it to continue, or are these just omissions?这是否意味的话,只是补充词汇,我们并不需要了解它继续下去,或者是这些刚刚遗漏?
I like to use the Course Outline to have a quick reference of vocab I should know before going on to the next lesson, but I realize I’m missing some words.我喜欢用课程大纲有一个快速参考的vocab我应该知道,然后才就下一堂课,但我意识到我错失了一些话。
Thanks,谢谢
